8" Rockford Fosgate Shallow Mount New (Seattle)

This is considered open box but new. The dual 2 ohm was the incorrect application for my JBL setup in my 2009 Tacoma.

Were you going to use this as a replacement for the OEM sub (without upgrading the amp)? My understanding was that the dual 2ohm version was the correct sub for that. From my reading the OEM sub runs off 2 channels, each of which is 2ohm. So hooking one channel to each voice coil will basically replicate the stock setup. Unlike an aftermarket amp where you'd bridge the two channels coming out of the amp and then hook up parallel or series to the dual voice coil sub.

I've been considering this sub myself so not sure if I'm just mistaken or... ???

Was going to pair it with this Amp and take the signals out past the OEM amp, leaving the JBL system intact and replacing the sub in the stock location.
