Or use your used up recovery tracks.. It was getting late and this was the only spot I could find and just had to level the RTT and set up for the night..

Stock nuts vs short black nuts: they kind of disappear and Im a fan.

And since it's a nice day out I finished the clazzio install:

And finally, another dumb lesson learned. One inch offset might not seem much, but it's been enough that I've bumped my trailer dolly twice when backing into the garage. Every time I bump it, it pushes the rear corner of the trailer into my workbench and cracks a running light. I keep a pile of $5 trailer lights for that reason. :anonymous: And now I'm running low again after this weekend. :anonymous::anonymous:

    Just getting started.
Picked up a used Decked system from another TW member this past week and got it installed with the help of my son (bonus: the bottle opener still works :D). Previously the driver's side ammo can had a Blue Sea 12V system installed, and that's on my list of things to do so I'm keeping that can with the nice rectangular cut out, but the original owner (I think I'm #3) hacked away at the passenger side can to access the plug. That DIY job was patched, but since I need the full storage that can provides I ordered a replacement from Decked last week. So far it's been great running errands all day without having to tie anything down or store it in the cab.

I like this a lot although I'm bummed that when the phone is in portrait mode it sits in front of some of the head unit buttons. My current holder is similar but is a little bit farther to the left. How did you end up wiring the unit?

Did the front vinyl a week or so ago, messed up enough that I didn't have enough left for the tailgate. :anonymous:
Oh well, I ordered more and got that done today.

I wonder if the module in the Corolla would work in the Taco?

Added the last touch to my new snow tire setup. Gray overlays from TVD vinyl.
Also added just a bit of retro color.

    I don't think they are.
But I also think that the vehicle has to have a lot to do with it. I've gotten 10 years each out of the three batteries in my '93 Civic in 300k and 29 years so far.

Hot weather is harder on wetcell batteries than cold weather is.

I am running a wire tapped into the center console USB ports. Have to install it yet - have the wire ready but it's been too cold here to play around in the garage.

Yesterday I finally put in my milled accumulator for the delete, flashed the tsb update on the ecu, and today finally got around to washing the winter crap off. Was a good weekend 2309F145-710D-471B-B1FC-8D2D97A937C5.jpg

The single strut kit works very well. It won't torque unless you try to pull the hood down from the side opposite the strut. Even then, it will deflect slightly but will close just fine. Most folks pull down in the middle of the hood, and you won't see any torquing/flexing if you do that.

But my '17 wheel control MATCHES the radio read-out.
Wheel has volume left to right; radio shows volume increments changing left to right.
Wheel has channel selection up / down; radio shows frequencies changes up / down.

Perfect match, Toyota Engineers knew what they were doing.
