Rumor has it we have a little storm coming our way? I know the same day in/day out covid story is getting tiring for the local news.

This is my fear. I hope I am wrong and it DUMPS!!!

Well, I am taking no chances. I was going to stay in town Friday night to see Hank's number go up to the Garden rafters, and fly to Denver in the morning.

I will be getting out of Fun City a day early.

I am not going to lose three days of skiing in Colorado to see a banner ceremony and spend three days shoveling out...

Hunter on Saturday: Cold, windy but worth the effort. Plow guy turned his back for one second and gained a passenger lol (would be easy to kidnap my dog, just open your door)

The wife is taking Valentine's day off... so we can go to Platakill with the Beacon Ski Club! Lucky she likes to ski as much as I do.
Side note, went to Okemo for the first time this last weekend, pretty decent conditions, seemed to be just above the freezing rain line in that last storm. A friend said he dropped in the top on Mansfield on Saturday to waist-deep pow... maybe we should have kept going north...

I watched a GoPro vid of a friend skiing Mad River day after the storm, and it was sick looking.
I'm spending Valentine's Day at Jiminy testing out 23' Black Crows lineup.

Gonna hit up Gore tomorrow. They claimed 15" or so in the last storm.

I am heading over to Jay for the first time this weekend. I am incredibly psyched! What is good for places to eat and drink? What trails and glades are a must do?

Don't let Paul McCartney's "Jet" get into your head while making turns on Jet, or riding the Jet Triple.

I haven't been there in 30 years... many things have changed... (The Flyer was a slow double, there was a T-bar parallel to it... and no water park / village chair). The one thing that sticks out is that it is still in the middle of nowhere, and is easier for Canadians to get to than Yanks... When I was there, drinking and eating was done in the condo or in the resort bar... On the Killington Access Road this mountain is not. Others may be more helpful...

Sunny and firm with a little fresh today at Hunter. Wife’s skies took a bit of a hit to a bridge (pedestrian walkway to the parking lot) she’s fine but bruised her ego big time.

Don't worry tips are already taken care of. We will pull them out of the press tomorrow after they are dried up.
