So I bought this sweet truck a week ago. Got in a T Bone wreck the other day in her. I have been trying so hard to find someone or somewhere to get this fixed. Would anyone happen to know if this is fixable or would I need a new bed. And if anyone had one for sale I could buy. EFD12D19-50AE-4C08-8261-CD1D64049D3D.jpg

That bedside is not fixable. Whether it's cheaper to replace the bed, or just that side is dependent on whether you can source a salvage yard bed in your area.

Check out this part number for pricing for replacement. FYI, this is based on a VIN search for my 95 model, but should be the same.

Scope Craigslist, the good/bad thing about 1st gen tacomas and their rotten frames, is there’s a lot of partouts - in denver there’s 3 beds right now for ~$500

likely will need to get an off color and paint but may get lucky with a black one

Hope it works out - bed is easy to take off with a helper - like 5 bolts and the taillights - may want to check if you need the fuel filter neck or something before hand depending on the severity of your wreck

there’s a couple YouTube’s on it if you get confused

Also Check under the plastic bed mat, if it was kept on there there’s a good chance there’s rust around the wheel wells, nothing a little weld / rust arrester / bondo can’t handle, but you’ll want to raptor line that asap after gussying it up

You sure there is no frame damage, axle and leafs still straight? If you are interested I have a green bed. For $500 I am near South lake Tahoe. About 7.5 hours away.

    Sorry for your trouble.

That bed is WAY beyond reasonable repairs. I suggest searching car-part.com for junk yards close to you that might have a bed that will work.

    Best.
