First truck was a Chevy Silverado 1500. I bought “Old Blue” for 2k seven year ago and put 200k on top of the 225 she had already. She still starts and runs today but it’s like driving an old boat, no ac, heat radio etc… but man she was a true blue truck. Worked harder than most trucks out there and deserves a rebuild one day.

So I went out and found me a Taco because their were 4 of them in the street I live on including my neighbor who loved his and holy crap fellas I’m in love. Picked up a white 2017 crew cab king bed Sr5. This truck is a whole different type of truck, she hauls everything I need and when the weights out the back she runs like hell. I put an intech cold air intake, an aFe throttle body spacer and a Borla S-type exhaust on it since I bought it a month ago and it sounds and runs great. I may never get around to fixing the old Chevy cause I want to buy all the accessories for this baby already cause it’s so easy to make this truck simply amazing. Can’t wait to dive into this forum and learn some cool stuff and get some great ideas. Really wanna get into overlanding with her. But I build cabinets and got the long bed for hauling tools and work stuff during the week.

Welcome! Sounds like you treat your trucks well. I'm sure your new Tacoma will treat you well in return. You have a nickname for your Taco, à la "Old Blue"?

Finn I named the new truck Oren-Ishii after the character from Kill Bill since she’s Japanese technically lol. Here’s a side by side of both trucks for you Caber.
