Around here anymore drivers tend to ignore emergency vehicles lights, sirens and horns just pay them no mind .

I always pull over the vehicles behind look at me like I am crazy as they continue to drive with the big red vehicle behind them!

 

That's broke reaaaallllll good!

 

I wonder if he can read a tape measure that centimeter scale might be confusing.

 

Sometimes it feels like we become invisible when we turn on the lights and sirens.

Our newest ambulance has dual sirens, air horns and a Howler system that creates an ultra low frequency that creates vibrations in the vehicles around it. All of those things combined tend to get people's attention better but it's still frustrating that people can't be "inconvenienced" for a few moments.

Re poll I am not really into the candy bar thing it has been years .

Then I would keep a few Hershey bars in the winter kit for those days stuck for hours waiting for the coroner to get out of bed.
