Need to replace a lower right side ball joint on my 2012 4.0 ext cab 4x4. What is the recommendation for brand to use? No off roading for me, it’s a back and fourth work truck.

    Thanks In advance

Is there some reason you don’t want to use a Toyota ball joint?

You have a part number for one? I looked around and couldn’t find one without calling the dealer.

I personally would just call the dealer, but you can likely find it on parts.Toyota.com or the various dealer parts sites.

    From our local dealer …..

Unfortunately they aren't available separate from the lower control arm from Toyota. They run around $400 each.
