So I currently have a leer 700 bed cover on my truck that I love so much, it’s been on it forever and I’ve put blood sweat and tears into fixing it when it’s broken, but it’s just not cutting the mustard anymore. Since we traded in my dads 2012 Prerunner fishing truck “Rustbucket”, my truck has taken the brunt of the things we need a truck for. One of those things is buying and transporting mulch, no problem, just load up the bed and drive home just like we used to do with rustbucket, except we always buy 20 bags of mulch but with the cover the bed can only hold 16 bags, 17 with some finagling. So we ended up driving home with three bags of mulch in the rear floorboard. So I need a retractable bed cover to replace the leer, something I can lock up so no one can steal from the bed while I’m at work but it can also be rolled up out of the way for loading, unloading, and awkward loads. I’ve got no idea how much this’ll cost but more budget minded options are better, we did just buy a new car so dumping 4k into a bed cover just don’t hold up. Thank you for any and all help :)
