Not today but last week I installed the @upTOPoverland diamondback truss system. I haven't had a chance to put a tent on it or anything yet but have tested it under 185 pounds of man and it doesn't flex at all. Very solid construction and looks great in my personal opinion. I had a few questions during install and reached out to them for help and not only were they quick to answer the phone as well as email but really understanding and patient with me. These guys have not only badass high quality products but matching customer support. A couple quick pics I took while out and about.

 

I’ve seen a lot of people post about how to secure their gas cap when fueling and have come up with a simple solution….get an off-road. The matte black fender flare is the perfect resting spot for the cap.

The local dealer in Seattle wanted a $10k markup on Pro last year when I bought mine. Drove 60 miles north, got it for MSRP, and paid $750 less in taxes. When I was there, the gal said the last Pro she sold some guy from Cali flew up, took that same 60 mile trip from the airport via Uber, and also bought his for MSRP.

 

That sounds about right to me, TRD Pros in CA are hard to come by. Markups are common as there are dudes that will pay for it. I’m starting to see no dealer mark ups as advertisements. I told all dealers to not contact me if there’s a mark up. Patience got me an off road in army green for msrp. None of us should be paying mark up, just on principle.

 

Haha. But on a windy day this would swing like a pendulum and scratch the fragile fender flares.

 

Not really because they’re made to take scratches and be resilient. On an SR5 or Sport it would be an issue.

 

Makes me wanna skewp just to light it up. I’m jealous.

How does this 2wd low switch work? I would assume it would void dealer warranty however I am quite intrigued. And in the opposite side of the mountains for the installer.

An under seat sliding drawer lockable safe similar to what bestop made for jeep wranglers. For storing firearms and what not when you have to go into a federal building.

The design is for the cord to hang between the two prongs. From Toyota.

 

I dont see how it would void any warranty...It selectively interrupts, or connects the signals as required to trick the ecu into thinking the front axle disconnect is engaged...here's the thread. I highly recommend!

You said it in your explanation: "..tricks the ECU into...". You're messing with their programming. (Not changing it, messing with it.)
The fact that you plug into, and interrupt, a factory wire harness also gives Toyota a reason for denial. They'd jump on that chance to take your money instead of providing free service to you. That's just how manufacturers operate.

I have the 2w Lo installed in my truck. Love it!
