Reverse is stupid. I will never need to be able to go as fast in reverse as this truck can...I would however like to be able to 5 without lugging or slipping a clutch.

Almost the first week of getting my 22 6MT, it sure drives like a dream, just likes to keep it's revs high, like a smaller displacement engine would like, compared to the old truck V8 and L6 engines I learned on. Those just had torque right at the tip of the throttle. I like my 22 because it has amazing highway manners. My 87 XJ with the 2.5L does not like to be below 2k...

Get the 6MT and never look back.

2017 Off Road 6MT, no issues with mine. Just the factory recall work for frame rust and moisture in light housing.

62,800kms on my 2017 TRD Sport DCSB and the only regret is not buying sooner. But if I bought sooner, I might not have been this satisfied. So nope, no regrets. I love my truck and plan to keep it for the long haul.

Edit: highly recommended the 2low mod and ADM. Also a short shifter kit to your liking, I have URD, I love it. There is also the Core shifter by Hurst.

My 2018 manual is the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. Couple minor recalls, no mechanical issues whatsoever and she takes a lot of abuse. This transmission is fantastic, very smooth gear shifts. You will not be disappointed.

ADM and 2WD Low mod really make driving experience much more enjoyable.

This truck is super fun to drive, for me anyway. I look for every excuse to go for a drive.

Yep disc brake grease on the pivot points of the clutch pedal will cure that old barn door creak noise.

2016 MT with 150k. Just broken in. No major issues. Wouldn't go back to auto unless I missed the extra space in the bed. Last Taco was a 2012 Auto.
    Enjoy

No money, all went to truck...
what, you don’t like cruising down the road going 30 mph in reverse?

The reverse 0-60 is probably faster than your normal 0-60
