    Hello taco world
This is my first Tacoma and I'm happy to say that am very pleased. But I do not have DRLS and want to install them on my 2021 sr5. Is this possible with out spend an arm and leg?? Thank you all for your help in advance.

I didn’t even know I had them until recently and still don’t understand why they exist. Out of curiosity, what do you intend to use them for?

What I don't understand is how you don't have any DRLs? I have an SR5 and use the amber DRL daily.

Same. Turn the light knob to DRL and voila you have amber DRL. They're the not the flashy LED eyeliner ones but they are what they are.

Ive always driven with my headlights on in the day. Been doing that for 35 years due to riding motorcycles. I have the DRLs on my sport and I still forget I have them, thus bypassing there usefulness by manually turning my lights on.... I'm a dork..

My SR5 has them too. But I hate the bright amber and replaced them with clear bulbs. The same bulb is for turn signals also.

I use the regular headlights for that. I’ve not found any reason to use the daytime running lights. Maybe I’m just old school.

    This was decent info:

    https://www.samsara.com/guides/drl/

We have our friends north of the border to thank for our daytime running lights.
