Took the truck for 12 month and asked to have a bracket on the AC condensor replaced. I say its broken/split and they say its normal. Can anyone confirm?

Look at the washer diameter... no way it would fit in the seat if the bracket was together at the top.

Big deal. That has nothing to do with the condenser.

Pretty sure thats normal too, thats how they get the rubber isolator into the hole. You tilt it, push in then twist and it goes into the hole.

Thank you just asking if it's broken or not. It's a $6 part that I will replace myself if it's actually broken

You're welcome. You should focus on bigger problems, like the paint/clear coat that will start peeling off of your truck soon. Historically, the White Tacoma's have utterly horrible paint jobs. Read the threads about them. That'll make you forget allllllllllll about this very minor issue.

And another tip. If you are taking your truck in for warranty work, you should at least take the time to clean it up a bit. You make it easy for them to want to deny your warranty when it looks like you have been thrashing it.

I always wash and clean the interior of my truck before bring it in for service. It set the tone that you care. The tech will be more careful and return the repair as clean as you sent it in

oh yea 6 full pages on a Tacoma forum where everyone comes to complain at and 95% of them seem to be 2017's is a HUGE problem. Stop acting like its 100 pages long and 80% of the trucks are all peeling

Do tacomas not come with 2 years free maintenance anymore? 5k, 10k, 15k, and 20k should all be free. Granted they are just oil change and rotate tires (5k, 15k, just rotate)

I was getting water in the drivers side floor, the dealer blamed it on the amp wire on the passenger side... saying that the water was running down the wire, jumping over the transmission tunnel and pooling on the drivers side.... without leaving any trace of water on the passenger side. I was done with them and fixed it myself.

Im The type that does all my own work, I'm fucking picky as hell. Must be done right, no exceptions. But, since I paid for services, I'll use them... they don't want to cover warranty work, fine.. I'll do it. It makes for a great weekend teaching my daughter how to work on cars and kick back a few beers. It's really a great time.
