    Lakewood is one of those very rare suburbs, to be sure. I live in a very rural county, but sadly, it has been heavily "influenced" by people of the opposing political ideology from the bay area moving up here and eroding our culture, freedoms, and everything else. If it wasn't for the nonsense of our politicians,. I would never leave northern CA. I have always loved living here, but it is just no longer financially or politically reasonable to do so.
