New Toyota Production?

Drove past one of my local Toyota dealers (photo below) a week or so ago and they only had a few new Toyotas on their lot, however the Nissan lot next to it was full of new vehicles.

I also saw a local TV ad yesterday where McGeorge Toyota (also one of my local dealers) stated that they had 300 new Toyotas soon to arrive.

Is this an indicator that new Toyota inventory will start flowing in quantity soon?

 

My dealer has cars/trucks coming in almost everyday, but they're already sold before they come off the truck.

 

Man who cares. Wait for that Tacoma all Electric to come out one day. The hell … spend your hard earned cash on some 1990s tech gas engine truck so you can fill it up for 80 bucks a week … always and forever. Don’t be foolish.

I’m just sayin . Imagine paying 45k on a “new” truck and rolling up in front of your buddies like “oh wow neat , yeah we never seen a budget v6 Toyota truck before. Hey sweet drum breaks ”. Now imagine… the truck pulls itself up in front of your friends… and you ! Def a “hole e shit that thing is awesome “ moment.

 

You do know that just because it's electric doesn't mean it's self driving, right?

 

Exactly if you do the math on what it cost to fill up or charge up at a station not much difference in price.

Ok new plan. Ditch the Tacoma Ev idea and get the tesla cyber truck. Then it will pull up by itself (I know from experience)

 

And you can find a gas station practically anywhere, try finding a charging station in out-lying areas.

 

Im hoping they produce a electric hybrid by 2024 so I can get one in lime green.

No, because I have a vehicle and idc what the inventory is of any other vehicles at this point. Now, getting my motorcycle gear is a pain

 

That's a pretty broad statement considering the variability of both gasoline and residential electricity prices. I don't think you can take that assumption at face value.

 

I heard on the news that Toyota is cutting back production by about 20% due to parts issues...

Well at minimum 50% savings when charging at home for me 2 years ago compared to fuel prices/ month. Could differ in areas yes, but charging at home is cheaper than pay to charge stations and gas.
