It’s a fresh water tank. I’ve got a portable toilet that will hold 4 days of brown only. Yellow is for the bushes

Pretty cool. Maybe I missed it but is there anything inside the tank to minimize sloshing back and forth?

Lookup a company called Davis Gregg Enterprises. He is a custom metal fabricator in Santee. He is my brother and might be able to knock something out for you. Can't promise anything

No there isn’t. It’s only a 21”x23”x9”. Not big enough to make a difference.

Have you reinforced the frame at all? Adding another 150lbs of water along with relocating your spare further back and looks like you have a substantial amount of equipment installed it sounds like you are running heavy. Just having flashbacks to that Frankentaco guy that added a lot of accessories and ended up with a taco shaped frame.

Kind of reminds me that I wonder where he is now?

Directly under the bed…where it’s designed to hold weight of cargo being carried on the bed or tongue weight of a trailer. My shocks have been swapped, along with heavy duty leaf springs, total cargo including the water is under 350 lbs, re-geared, heavier duty brakes ….I think it will hold…¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Correction, it wasn't frakentaco, it was David Hale. In any case, I think he thought the same. You undoubtedly have done quite a bit to support the extra weight, but it doesn't sound like you have reinforced the weakest point and that is the frame. Re-gearing, heavy duty leaf springs, and shocks clearly allow you to carry the extra weight, but also is allowing you to put more stress on the frame and the further back you put the weight like the spare tire hanging off the back add even more stress. Might be worth your time to review a little history.

It’s not clear from your pics, but some rubber in the tray and where the tank contacts metal might be a good idea for abrasion and ‘snugness’…

Yep. The top, the bottom, sides and all the tubing is lined with rubber for abrasion protection. Also a heat shield has been installed to protect against the exhaust and heat
