Carefuly, USPS people can be quite picky, especially when it comes to height.

41-45" high it says and since my neighborhood is walked instead of driven I don't have to worry about distance from curb

Photographic evidence of how fast a rear diff disappears from a junkyard Toyota.

This is the picture from the yard's website and there's already someone pulling it.

I’ve had an extra front and rear diff sitting to the side of my house for like 3 years

Are they attached to a truck that used to run?

The fronts don't get pulled as aggressively, but I've been to the yard on day-1 of several Tacomas and 4Runners and they've all been missing the rear diffs.

A few have had the entire from end sawzalled off to get the engines, too.

Maybe in a year or two

I’m not gonna take over my parents storage or buy some random lot somewhere for my hoarding collection

Sometimes I think about finding a spare and putting it in my storage unit for a ,"just in case."
Prob not worth it...hopefully if the time comes they'll still be relatively easy to source.
