I have the Rago low profile brackets and I've not had any issues. I'll go check mine out for you and post some pictures...

It's close on the drivers side and a mile away on the passenger. However, even if it contacts on the driver's side, that rubber is spongy and wouldn't affect the windshield.

    I'm perplexed.

I still dont see how a little pressure on the plastic could possibly chip the glass..

Also not sure I would have gone and cut up the cowl. But to each their own

I also see witness markings on the ditch light bracket (marked in red) that indicates this bracket was initially installed much farther rearward, where it could've more than likely caused the damage OP is claiming.

Not trying to imply the OP is out to defraud Rago for a new windshield or anything, but I have my doubts about that windshield being cracked from those brackets where they currently sit.

I noticed the scuffs from the nuts too, but figured it was from some trial and error installing where OP wanted them. It would make sense that there's more probability of interference when the brackets are installed furthest rearward. Can't really say thats the company or OP 100%, but it would suck if the company designed it with "too much" adjustability.

agreed! Too many people running Rago brackets without issues, thus occams razor applies in this case.

I adjusted it because I thought that would have been the reason. But no the area where I trimmed is where the bracket sits. I'm not trying to get a new windsheild from Rago. I already emailed Rago of my situation and letting them know of what happened. I just picked this windsheild up in November too. Windshields are fairly cheap $400 tops. I'm glad this windsheild doesn't have a sensor on them.

This is how I have them now. With them like this it pushes the lights more out. The only area where I trimmed is where it was contacting the most when hood is closed

With his user name, I'm surprised he's bothered.

You're saying pressing on that piece of plastic/rubber can cause the windshield to crack?

The corner of the cowl where the magnet was pointed too was right at the edge of the windsheild. So when closing the hood I believe that it pushed the cowl and chipped the windshield. Maybe the windsheild place that installed the glass back in November may have installed it a little lower than it should. Not sure though
