New member, long time lurker for the advice posts. Bought my 2017 Tacoma from a friend who was sick of making payments and wanted equity to buy a house. His loss.

I use the truck for work and weekend warrior fun. So far suspension upgrades and gearing plus lots of little convenient extras. I'm trying to do up everything pretty nicely. Getting highly recommended mechanics to do whatever work would be too time consuming or nuanced for me (i.e. the re-gearing).

I'll be asking questions when I can't figure something out and providing advice for problems I've already solved. For example, I'm having a custom rear driveshaft built by modifying an OEM driveshaft with the addition of a double cardan CV segment right after the T-case to eliminate driveline shuddering. Hopefully I can provide useful results for other people to read.
