I'm curreny leasing a 2019 Toyota tundra sr5 trd offroad extended cab 6.7 ft bed.

The end of the lease is coming up, debating between buying it out or going back to a tacoma.
We do plan on getting a travel trailer within the next few years.
If I go the tacoma route it would have to be the double cab automatic 4 wheel drive.

Pros and cons of keeping the tundra vs going back to a tacoma and vice versa?

    Any and all input welcome.
    Thanks everyone

Probably depends most on what you plan on towing and where.

Short and long road trips we live on the east coast so would tow anywhere from up in Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire and down to ocean city Maryland ect.

We are looking at travel trailers nothing huge or too heavy maybe around 5000 lbs empty for the trailer max and nothing over 24 feet long.

Unless you’re going to get a small light TT and pack light, definitely buy out Tundra.

Def the Tundra for towing. And the 2.5 gen Tundras are going to be increasingly sought after & retain value in the coming years.

If you plan on towing, keep the Tundra.

Tundra. Of course when not towing the Tacoma would be a lot more efficient. And much more nimble.

By the time you add all the other weight on top of the 5000 Lbs you would be at max limit, go Tundra.
