Oil Leak

A lot of us on this forum have the described vehicle. I do worry about quality control with vehicles currently being made cause they are trying to crank them out asap.

 

Seems like a few of the recalls/failures/issues have been due to robot issues.
Timing cover sealant application, CPS lubricant application causing failure, over torquing of 3rd brake light, underfilling of rear differential.
Unacceptable.

 

Engines blowing up in a toyota ? Are you actually serious. I'd rather have 100 toyotas than one pos ford.

 

Yes one just blew up and matts off-road recovered it. 3rd one this week. they have an oil issue.

From your trolling and postings you even bash Tundras and everything Toyota and are pro Ford. You work at Ford ? LOL
Why don't you spend time on the Ford forums trying to find solutions and work out their defects for all their issues, should keep you busy for a few decades.
I've looked at the Ranger forums and it's a disaster !
Nothing like Toyota quality, you and the world know it.

Dude was going up a steep climb, if he didn’t have the oil reservoir completely topped off, the engine may have been starved. So not a great reliability example. Plus, a recovery channel is gonna have tons of examples of motor problems by its nature. Pretty biased population of data. Maybe look at the reliability scores of Tacomas compared to other vehicles as was just posted. That’s actual useful data.
