I highly recommend ceramic brake pads for your truck. I have been running them for 40,000 miles & they are much better all round than asbestos or other material brake pads. There is practically no dust. And much better stopping power. If you change your own brakes, these are lifetime pads (meaning you get FREE replacements for life). They are well worth the extra money.

I lucked out & bought them on sale. You may be able to get them cheaper online.

Also I sometimes tow a bass boat & I can tell a big difference on stopping power from the semi metallics I was running.
