Do you guys think this is a fair price for the 60k transmission service? Any suggestions?

They said it was a complete transmission fluid flush. I'm assuming (all be it I'm an idiot) that it means they will replace all fluid from the transmission. I believe that is a 60K recommendation. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

Here's a pretty good article on the dos and don'ts that gets it right.
    http://mygarageairdrie.ca/services-...ices-that-you-dont-need-transmission-flushes/

The service manual fluid replacement procedures requires three drain and refills. It'll require more fluid than capacity(11 quarts).

Fair is going to be subjective...
In my case, I'd perform the service myself and be into it for 14 quarts of ATF, new filter, new gasket, new washers(approx. $200) and a couple hours.

    Thanks man,
Do you have a link to the Toyota Service Manual page that speaks on the three drain/fills? I have the parts necessary for the service. My main question was the price of the service being "fair" in regards to other dealership pricing customers may have seen.

Here's a link to the 2016 service manual. You can navigate by doing a word search or there is an index in the bookmarks.
You'll want "transmission fluid replacement" for the AC60F transmission. To adjust the level, you'll want "transmission fluid adjustment".
As I said, this is for the 2016... You may or may not be able to do the fluid adjustment using the jumper method at the OBD port, as Toyota changed the OBD port in 2020 IIRC.
I think it's basically the same procedure, sans the jumper; not sure.

Some of this Some of that
Make sure they really mean the full flush. That seems like a good price, but a lot of dealerships don’t do flushes on the new sealed WS fluid transmissions. They could be quoting you for a drain and fill, in which case that price sucks

Thanks for all the details and feedback. I'll confirm with the dealer that it's a flush and not a drain/fill and report back. I'm a dummy for not providing vehicle details, it's a 2018 v6 automatic.

Not bad too bad for a full fluid exchange.
If it includes changing the filter and pan, even better.

If it’s just a drain and fill. That’s a pretty high price in my opinion.

I was told by service advisor last week that I didn't need to get transmission service until 100k, I have 81k now. What's the truth?
