    I see some old trucks posted in this forum and I can't tell the difference between those and Hilux's. I just got this 1982. IMG-3355.jpg IMG-3359.jpg

    That's a 83 or 84 based on headlight. 82 and older have circle headlight and 85 body changed.

    Best year will be an 85 with EFI 22RE and a factory solid axle.

    It's registered as a 1982 and it was one owner. Either way, I'm happy with it. As soon as I get the ignition switch and key I'll be driving it around town. The screwdriver ignition with the start button on the dash doesn't seem very secure.

    Must be a later 82. Either way, they're good truck. I just hate dealing with the 22R carb for emission purposes. But if your state don't require smog, throw in a 3rz.
