My house was originally 3 fish camps built on Cypress logs. The camps were lashed together and floated on to an Oyster shell pile during a Solstice high tide Noreaster storm in 1890.
The Cypress logs were removed and milled into siding and shake shingles when the kitchen and bathroom we're added in 1960.
My house is 6' above Sea level thanks to that shell pile.

Thanks for the share. I ordered a set from eBay. 1 more available at this price shipped. Others for a few dollars more.

I've been getting by with some Harbor Freight Long Reach hose pliers. upload_2022-3-19_9-15-51.jpg

All wrapped up in the spare bedroom.

Lets start with a before pic. Not great, not terrible. Popcorn ceiling, unpainted door, too dark of a paint color, piss poor baseboard job, closet door from the 60's that never closed right, etc. The usual fix and flip stuff.

    And as of today

New doors, flat ceiling, new baseboards, decora recepticles, and now Ive also got a place for a washer and dryer in the hallway.

I believe using black iron would be an application of knowledge.

I could see it, not doing it just because you've been told/shown/instructed that's how it's done

Well, I got busted in the 2nd grade (at a new school) for walking across the playground saying the lyrics from this song. Yet later found the principal and teachers were all chain smokers. If you walked by the teacher's lounge, you could get a nicotine high from breathing the air that came out of the lounge.
