This link will take you to where I got them. Not sure about removing the tire but I'm sure you could ask them.

They have a full video on the install. Pretty easy and they give you a couple extra Incase you jack it up.

    Work in progress...
16's are more off road capable, I stuck with 17's. It is all up to the buyer.

Ok... so.... I've been a bit busy with work but I thought I'd update everyone on what I went with and the end result incase they go down the same or similar path!

    I opted for some Method 701s - 17 inch x 8.5 with 0 offset. I paired them with some BFG K02s 265-70-17s.

Running this on a 100 percent completely stock 2021 TRD OR package (no upgrades beyond the normal to the lift/suspension/etc) I have complete clearance and zero rubbing issues running this set up. A full-sized spare wheel/tire fits completely fine under the truck bed.

Thank you ALL for your help!

I had same decision and same wheel choice. I went 17” because of tire options specifically C load KO2 can only get in 17

So stock OR tires are 265/70/16. Are 265/70/17 bigger than stock? I thought the only difference between the two is the hole in the middle. Dumb question, I know:anonymous:

Have you considered getting you stock wheels powder coated? If you like the design of your stock wheels then picture them in any color you can imagine. One of my best friends runs a powder coating business and he charges about $100 a wheel to media blast, prep and then powder coat.

265/75/16 and 265/70/17 are basically the same thing.

The difference between 16and17 inch tires is 1/2 inch side wall not 1 inch

I prefer the thickest side wall is best for long term life of the suspension, more flex to absorb road and trail bumps. I would like to run a15 inch rim with a 31 to 31.6 tire but it wont fit brakes.

I went 16's because I like more side wall. I'm running scs br6's with 265/75r16's on my stock suspension 20210519_115237.jpg

265/70R16 & 265/65R17 are factory sizes and approximately 30.5" in diameter...

265/75R16 & 265/70R17 are the next size up and will fit in most cases without modification. They are approximately 31.5" in diameter.

I'd much rather keep a 16" rim if I could, but tires sizes are limited. Although I am VERY happy with my 265/75/16 Duratracs, they don't come in a 33" pizza cutter size, so I many have to settle on 255/80/17 Wildpeaks, AND have to buy 17'' rims. Too bad the Wildpeaks also dont come in a 255/85/16 tire. Same problem as the Duratracs.

It's a real shame because Wildpeaks are just nowhere near as aggressive as my Duratracs.
