This sat at their depot for 4 days while they kept "forgetting" to put it on a truck (they hate making runs out here because it's off their route, and always wait til Friday).

And when it got here it was well-stomped with a corner of the glass protruding.

This is what a $250 oversize fragile charge gets you.

Whoever sent it didn't package it properly. Hope you paid for insurance and are getting the sender to replace it.

    Put in a claim.

Believe it or not, the US Post Office is 10 time worse with how they handle packages. They're not much better than knuckle dragging Neanderthals IMO.

    That sucks!

Was it Fed Ex express, ground, freight? Those are three different entities of Fed Ex that will drliver different results at different prices and include a surcharge for fuel. The only advantage the shipping customer has now, is that it isn't peak holiday shipping season.

FedEx Freight - and I already have an RMA in with the seller. They'll get it tomorrow when they open.

The major hassle is not having a new window in time for my trip, can't recoup that, so I did the next best thing and complained on the Internet.

Seems like every trip that I go on, there's something that didn't arrive on time for the trip. Oh well, I think to myself, the next trip will have the thing and will be better for it. But as it always goes, the next trip will have another thing on order that didn't make it in time...

One of these days I'm going to have a good trip. I've been waiting for nearly 30 years for that to happen.

But yeah. I feel your frustration.
