Hey yall, I'm looking for a part number. Bought my 2013 tacoma second hand, and this wiring connector was clipped off. I've searched everywhere and pored over A/C schematics but I haven't been able to figure out exactly what this part is. Is this a pressure sensor or switch? Anyone know what the part number for the female connector is? The connector on the sensor looks like #90980-11155 in the connector catalog in the stickied thread, but I'm not sure which female plug would match it.

I found a 2011 taco at a wrecker and snipped out the same wiring connector thinking it would just be plug and play, but it doesn't match. It looks like on the 2011, the wiring connector is male, and in my truck, it seems like the connector on the sensor is male... I assume this is a gen 2.5-specific part?

Any insights would be much appreciated![IMG]

Does anyone know what exactly this part is?

Here's the connector from the 2011... looks very similar, but it doesn't connect to the sensor above:

That is the A/C Pressure Switch, it looks like the female pins from the old plug are still stuck on the terminals, this is what it should look like.16478201830878091623148384834212.jpg

You could use a small needle nose pliers and pull them off gently.

The plug doesn’t come with wires/pins.
You’ll need these if you choose to go with a new plug . You need 2 of them.
160mm and 500mm are the length of the wire. Either will work.
I usually go with the longer one.

Amazing, yep that was exactly it. The pins came out no problem, and the plug clipped right on. Thanks for your wiser eyes!

Thanks for this, luckily the plug I snipped out of the junker was kitted, so it was plug and play after all, just had to take the old pins out of the sensor connector.

Now, my suspicion is that there's some deeper issue with the A/C, which is why they had messed with this plug in the first place...

Yea that is odd, those switches rarely go bad.
I'd be concerned about corrosion on those pins the way that it looks you may have to clean them to get it to make a good connection.
