Is it worth paying the core fee on a steering rack?

    I might want to refurbish my old one after I swap the new one in. It would be worth more than the core charge at that point. Anyone bother doing this or should I just send the core in?

    Buy a new one not a refurbished one. Oem is best but rock auto has some new aftermarket ones
