What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I do like that and I may still end up doing that but I was looking for a place for a 6trigger rocker panel so I'd need the space for a whole panel not just a switch or 2 free.

 

Yea, my first summer job was mowing lawns on missile sites in Germany in the 80s. I have lived within ground zero pretty much my entire life after all the time in the Navy. Only things that will matter if something that needs EMP protection happens is Time, Distance, and Shielding. None of which will be done by a $50 box bought off the internet. Rather spend my cash on protecting from the things I can change (CatShield) and look cool bits for my Tacoma.

 

@MESO made the switch holder for me. I bought the extension from another TW member that makes custom wire harnesses.
I installed a 6 button remote on the left side for all my accessory lights.

 

Especially a left turn lane with an island where you absolutely can't get over until the slow-roller gets far enough past it to let you in!

 

Installed my PRP seat covers. After a couple of hot days, any wrinkles will smooth out. They look much better that the stock SR seats, and feel like leather.

 

You're right - Skyline towers w/ landing pad #24 bolted to the factory roof rack holes. The landing pads come with a metal "punch" to poke holes through the plastic in the gutters. Very happy with the setup and look over the OEM rack.

Well lookie here received it within 4 days lol ordered it last Thursday got it Monday. Getting it is one thing, installing it is another hopefully I can keep it reasonably painless…

Only got it because that site has a sale on these things I think it was 20 or 25% off so if you haven't gotten one, now is the time to do it. Didn't receive the pen lol gotta pay for that discount somehow, I guess...

 

It would have worked except my fuel port is on the drivers side.

 

This site is hazardous to my bank account haha. I missed this grab bar that I had on my second gen I might have to get this now for my 3rd gen while I wait for my slider/steps.

 

Well I did it yesterday, my first "mod". The Tacoma TRD Performance Air Intake.


I knew once I did one I ran the risk of catching the bug, having owned a couple of Wranglers in the past. 1 down ? to go.

 

I never put in the .2 qts. 6qts is still between add and full. I always wonder down the road if that's a mistake wonder what others do...perhaps a poll is needed in tech chat!

EDIT: NVM, two down confirmed my suspicions.

 

My Method 704’s came in and got them put on. 0 offset with 4.5 backspacing. Gonna check tonight if I rub on my Toyo ATIII’s 265/75r16’s I shouldn’t but we shall see.

 

how did that work out?
