Add Heated Leather Seats

Hello Taco friends,
I finally got me a Tacoma. Been wanting one for years.
I'm looking into adding some leather seat covers and heated seats.

1. Any strong recommendation Clazzio vs Katzkin?
2. Any suggestion on where to put seat heater control buttons? I'd prefer to go with the toyota style rocker buttons, rather than the smaller round universal ones....but I don't know where the buttons would go? I don't seem to have room on dash.

 

Do you have any empty slots left of steering wheel? If not, you can add a MESO switch panel when they are available. If you do, you can use a set with one switch for both seats like these. And also, you add a switch to the overhead console as well.

I'm leaning towards pulling out the Qi button, as I don't really see myself using it, and then using that one dual-controller.

 

I was going to move the blind spot monitor switch to the left of the steering wheel. I didn't end up having to but there is no reason for something that you will almost never use to take up center console space. Just cut and splice into the harness. Between that and the Qi button you should be good. Also check out on tapping into the factory seat heater wiring for a more stock install.

I had Katzkin seats installed in my wife's Silverado. I like them better than the factory leather. Would definitely recommend
