Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Years ago I was with a junior mechanic when he reported to a floor supervisor about a service call.

He said "he f****d with it for a while and now it is working good".

Later I told him "we say we make adjustments, do a few tests, check connections or change out suspect parts -- but we never say we f**k with it..." All about the presentation.

 

I hate picking up machine setups after someone else. You can never understand their notes and 9 times out of 10 they didn't do hardly anything so you're stuck pulling the lion's share of the work.

Usually when I'm mad and playing through scenarios about how I wanna berate someone.

 

That reminded me doing a Job at East Penn Manufacturing years ago because of the lead certain safety measures .

At break time the 4 cups of coffee and a quart of Gatorade needed to be drained .

I come flying into the locker room to the urinals already about out of my pants. There is a really cute young woman cleaning my first thought urinals in the women locker room.

She looks at me smiles and said "I forgot the Sign again" as I stand there we were both laughing so hard she had extra work.

OOPS years to late now!

We had a standard form Did this did that found this went to lunch broke all ready just a different part .

What we just did never failed on the paper work

 

Once we started it was our baby till it was online some very long days.

Good morning friends!!!

I ask my wife last night if she would open the store this morning, boss man gave me a hot job making two plates for a funnel attachment so he could take them to the customer yesterday afternoon. I got to the last step and read the print wrong and killed them both so I came in early so I can have them on his desk when he gets in

I cut the angle on the inside all the way to the edge which made the hole in the bottom too big. Fixed!

I had good relationships with my grandparents. Most memorable is with my fathers mother. A friend once told me she was the picture perfect grandmother. One example; whilst on vacation down in Arizona, grandmother woke up and was making breakfast for my cousins children. My cousin objected because grandmother was on vacation but grandmother replied, no, this is what I do and I want them to know and remember me.
