There is another thread already on this very topic. Great deal I guess, but I cannot make myself spend a Grand on headlights.

I like them but I cannot remember the last time I drove at night. I love going into work on my two days a week and if I leave early enough I can use my headlights for 5 minutes, lol. I'm having my friend who is an amazing painter use the House of Colors headlight tint clear and do a light coat on my headlights. I run DD SL1 with no complaints. Love the look of the OEM LEDs. I can get a set new from the dealership for a little over $700, which is a steal I know.

I bought a set. Great price and no tax. These really set these trucks off.

Agreed shipmate. There is a lot of other things I could use before needing to replace headlights that are perfectly good.

It's just a thread for those who don't know or want to know. If you don't want headlights I'm unsure why even bother reading the thread or making comments about not wanting lights. your opinion is your own, but that's not what this thread was for unfortunately. Thanks for the input though I guess?

Thanks for the tip, it is a big savings if you’re in the market! For the money you wont get a better lighting upgrade that is DOT approved.

Just did mine this past weekend.

The worst part was pulling apart the bumper to fender! The best part was that sweet FBC Harness kit came with those extra clips! Thank You!

I also did the Diode Dynamics SS3 max fog light upgrade. I got out a laser level, so from 25' back, I could mark tape on the garage wall for the 4" drop for the headlight and light alignment—very sharp cut-off on both, so easy to align. I wish SS3 came with an OEM-type adjuster.

Chloe Kou on Youtube has an installation video. I kept thinking, "did I miss a bolt?" Nope just put some force into separating that bumper to fender to access a hidden headlight bolt.

I’m in the same boat... I don’t want to have to drop my steel bumper to install these, but the deal seemed too awesome to pass up.
Good thing is I won’t need them until next fall. Good ol’ midnight sun

I said that to myself too when I first starting thinking about getting a tacoma but in the last 3 months of waiting I have been getting really impatient and the only thing that has helped is buying mods for it... including morimoto headlights and tail lights *rip wallet* but the amber drl version had me throwing money at my screen :spending:
