    Hello -

Got an odd request and one perhaps on an earlier thread but I cannot find it. I just purchased an immaculate 2019 Tacoma Limited last Friday. The description said it had ApplePlay but I have since learned I have the Entune version (sensor touch buttons left and right) and not the version that has the hard chrome buttons left and right.

It is a JBL sound system and, oddly enough, I don't want to pull it out and add a Sony, etc. I'm fine with OEM. I just want the unit I have now with CarPlay (preferably via bluetooth, not plugging in). As a result, it should have other bells and whistles that my Entune does not have (after I signed up for the account, it wiped the grandfathered apps from the radio - sigh).

1 - I'm not paying $3-4k for them to swap it out. 2 - I'd rather not take a flyer on E-bay for a unit that may or may not work and pay $1-1.5k for that.

I'm looking for someone who didn't want their OEM (2020 or newer) and flipped it out and still has the old (new) radio in their garage. I still do for a Honda CRV that I replaced.

HELP! This is such a first-world problem, I know, but every new car my wife and I have bought for 33 years has been hers. I LOVE TECHNOLOGY. So of course the first car that's "mine" is limited. Ironic that it is a "Limited."

    Thank you in advance!
