    Just got word that an electrical transformer caught fire in town. Good portion of town is without power. Seeing on Facebook that work has no power. They do have backup generators.

    Harmless as most spidies are...
    Was watching HBO on the laptop the other night, noticed something moving around backlit by the screen.
    It got closer...and closer...finally a spider dropped down in front of the screen, kinda interesting.
    It went buh-bye when I grabed the web strand and tossed it out the window. Almost thought about throwing it in the tub where I let one live just to keep people from snooping in the guest bathroom o_O

    Hate them too but I do what I must when one comes crawling in the house.
    I get false widows in the garage over the summer. Freaking hate those things. I get the really nasty bug killer stuff and preemptively spray the entire perimeter of the slab once things start to warm up. Seems to help. I still don't grab anything in the garage without giving it a good kick or poke with a broom handle first.

    We had a wood stove in the house when I was growing up so we always had spiders sneaking in with the firewood. Not sure why but it was always me that ended up with bites from them. Some were pretty nasty and painful.
