    I thought about the RTTs but since I’ve em ever actually camped in out of a vehicle I figured I’d start with a cap since I can use it for general storage as well. Best part is that the wife is excited too! Was worried on the ride back home with the setup that it would be a one man show out in the woods lol. And cool, I’ll message you about the wheels

    I can say that there was a bit of headroom inside of the RTT, enough to sit straight up but I was never comfortable. The stock mattress is too thin but when I added a layer of memory foam, I couldn't close it back up without removing the foam. PIA. I also wouldn't want to be stuck in a heavy rain inside of the tent because, well, it's just a tent! The fiberglass shell would be much more secure. I enjoyed the sleeping platform that I built for the 4runner much better ( compared to the RTT ) next time I go to Daves, I will take the Runner.
