13k or 33k is nothing on a liquid cooled Japanese bike (as you obviously know)!

I actually have bought two used bikes over the years that had over 100k on them, rode them a while, sold them and AFAIK the current owners are still rocking them problem free. Both were V-Stroms actually.

 

A guy on the AT forums just got this. I want it, but the one that works with the factory valve is $1200. I cant do it just yet, especially when I still need to get the upper crash bars and some Baja Designs lights first.

That's 870 euros. 943 after shipping is $1037 shipped before VAT. Motovation USA is the US distributor for SC Project. I'm sure their price is probably right in line with what you'd pay after VAT.

SC makes nice stuff! I've considered swapping over from my Akrapovic.

 

Ive ordered boots from England and the OEM rear rack from Japan and never had to pay VAT. I think thats only for ordering in EU. Both have saved me over $300 usd from ordering with no wait times. Got both things delivered in 3-4 days

Correct, generally VAT is only charged inside host country or inside trade zone (like inter-EU), depends on the industry.

honestly what impresses me most is what seems to be oem tail lights cut in half and installed upside down

 

I like the use of inverted and split factory taillights on that.

Been trying to find a clutch cable to replace my broken one posted a couple days ago.

nearly everywhere I've tried to source it from is backordered until May 5...including Yamaha. On the verge of blowing about $350 on a hydraulic clutch conversion if I can't find the cable I need to replace it soon...

If any of you guys have the time and feel like looking, the part number is B34-F6335-00-00. Would be greatly appreciated, and if you found one available within the US/purchased one for me, I'd happily throw you $20 for the find, or reimburse you the cost +$20

Haven't tried them, I just called and left a message. Ordered one anyways just in case. Also have one on order from Partzilla, and Boats.net (?) lol. Hoping one of them shows up soon, but I know Partzilla is already backordered.
