    Do 4 runners have a V-8 option? Yesterday a fellow Toyota driver let me merge into traffic, After giving him the thank you wave I thought I seen a emblem that said V-8 on the front.

    not an easy swap huh....I was telling my wife if that 4 runner had a V-8 its funny you dont see too many guys doing the swap on TW. Probably hard to find the v-8, cost factor, and like you mentioned, different wiring, etc.

    My buddy's 03 (Im pretty sure its an 03) is a V8. Works well but not so easy on the mpg

    probably not that much more power for the amount of money, you could have the trd charger

    The only reason I would want a V-8 is for the sound. I had the 4.7 in my Dakota with two flowmaster 44's. Man that truck just had a awsome sound to it. You really cant duplicate deepness of a V-8. However, I only got 10. mpgs so Im happy now.
