I've had the Caliraised 32" light bar on my truck for 5 years now and I gotta say, I like the fact that it doesn't give off the RF interference that the KC and Morimoto products do. I have ferrite magnets on the other products and they are still noisy, but have never needed them with the Caliraised.

I will add that on my 2nd-gen I bought some Cali-raised pods to replace my foglights. They made it 1 winter here in PA and the frames of the pods faded and got all pitted and beat (they were initially black.) I made a thread about it and asked if they would help me out or at least get some kind of discount for replacements and they said no. My truck was always kept very clean and I provided pics etc. It is what it is. I am not going to bash them but I also am not going to vouch for amazing customer service either. I have bought a few things from them since but also just figured I would add that to this thread, since I don't think your product being discontinued is the reason. They probably would still do nothing regardless.

Caliraised LED customer service was a joke when I tried getting some info on them for wiring up a switch to their lightbar, couldn't even give me correct info on wiring up their own products. As someone else stated they buy cheap Chinese junk, etch their logo into it, and mark them up like crazy.

This thread is the equivalent of buying single-ply toilet paper and bitching when your finger goes in your butt.

If by this you mean buying a hard product made of metal that corroded relatively fast in comparison to other products and when you reached out to their customer service they asked you to source and fix the problem then yes you are correct.

To clarify, what I mean is that there are better products that you could have purchased... You chose single-ply. Your finger got poo on it. And now you're crying about it publicly... You get what you pay for.

What product should I have bought to put a little light around the side of my truck when I am in the woods? Something designed by NASA?

Well I surely wouldn't have picked your choice. There are so many other good companies out there that make good products.

I like to bring this up each time that I see a thread like this. There are technically two separate caliraised businesses now and from my experience one is significantly more helpful than the other.

Couple genuine questions; does your invoice for the product you bought specify the material of the hardware included? Did you inquire about the hardware material before purchasing? It'd be one thing if they claimed stainless hardware was included, in which case I'd agree that Caliraised should offer a small gift card/discount code/sticker/something equal to the $2 you're out since they don't carry the hardware. I somehow don't think this is the case though.

"18W Slim LED Flood Work Light" is on the invoice. No I did not inquire on the stainless bolts and now it is discontinued so I don't know. Is it not generally understood that things that go outside need to be corrosion resistant? Look I am not saying that 2 dollars in bolts is going to make or break my bank account but I do value customer service and on principle when I say hey your bolts suck ass and rusted terribly I would expect a company to figure it out if they want my business in the future. I am also the type of guy that just spent 4 months trying to find a dealer that wouldn't gouge me on a Rav4 hybrid. I had to travel from Portland Oregon to Bellevue Washington to find a dealer without a crazy mark up. The dealers in my area will never get my business again, ever.

Its been said many times. When you buy cheap, either learn to fix it or buy it again. Them's the rules.
