Love it, look at all those flower beds, Mulch and concrete I wouldn't have to mow!

 

Though this is seriously all I need in a house right now, even if I could afford the English Tudor house above!

 

But for only four grand more I could literally have double the space, double the bedrooms, and double the bathrooms! The bigger house doesn't seem to be renovated to the extent that smaller one is, and I'm guessing it's in not as nice of a neighborhood, and that's why it's only ever so slightly more expensive?!?!

 

Holy crap, the market is bonkers. I only paid 9k more for my house and it's 3 bed, 3 bath, 2400 Sq Ft with a finished basement!

 

It’s a mix. My last place had natural gas, this place is all electric. Others with heat pumps. Lot of people seem to be moving more toward electric just cuz it’s easier, especially if you have lp tank and ever ran out in the winter.

 

My Tacoma is a 5-lug, but there are only a few days out of the whole year here in Southeast PA that I regret not having a 4x4; Is 4WD obligatory in Iowa?

 

Does your current place have heat pumps or just electric baseboard?

 

I think its a lot to do with the fact that Solar is starting to get more advanced so if you run all electric you could slap up a slab of panels and save big money once the ROI kicks in.

anything over 500k is usually executives for the big companies or farmers with a lotta acres.

 

I'm more south in MO, but in most cases, the DoT keeps stuff plowed enough youd be fine as long as you go slow. It's other drivers you should be more concerned about.

Depends where you are and the year. We hardly had any snow this year. I know a lot of people that got by with 2wd during the bad years

most stuff is fairly flexible or delays until the roads get cleared

 

I paid $55k for my house. Sits on a 10,454 sqft lot, house is 1,072 sqft, garage is 24x56. And I have a semi circle driveway. And my real estate taxes aren't that bad surprisingly

 

Illinois is cheap, but there's a lot of cons involved that I won't mention here.

 

Or people who hit the lottery; That is house is listed for what my parents paid for their house here in PA back in 2016! My dad is a 25-year Navy veteran and get a pension, and he is also one of four VPs of a defense contract that builds unmanned aircraft for the government; I work in the warehouse at my dad's company.

 

Not cheap in the county I'm in. I live in a rural area which is what I got going for me. My dad lives in the city and his taxes are like 4k a year

Were Tacos in Iowa covered under the frame recall? My frame was replaced, courtesy of Toyota, just before a thanksgiving last year due to perforation on the right frame rail by the catalytic converter. If anything, I'd want to move somewhere like Florida or Oklahoma to preserve the new frame, but Iowa is tempting!

 

Does your house have central A/C?

 

to that! I would NEVER want to live in Illinois! I would like to visit sometime though!
