2022 Lunar Rock TRD OffRoad Checking In!

    Happy to say I just picked up my TRD Off-Road today being on the wait list since November! The dealer I got it at does MSRP only so it’s a wait for a Tacoma.
    This is my first truck after mainly sporty cars, so definitely stoked to have it. And I love Lunar Rock!
    This will be a fun daily for over-land type off roading for me. Plans are:

    1. 6112/5160 upgrade and whatever else is recommended with that to ensure longevity
    2. New wheels/tires
    3. KD max tune
    4. TRD exhaust when I can find a used one and install it myself
    5. Tacoma Pro grill (But I am also tempted to keep the stock one, just need ideas on ways I can change it up)
    6. Electric tail gate lock
    7. Tri-fold tonneau (always looking for recommendations)
    8. TRD Pro tail lights
    9. Skid plate (maybe TRD)
    10. Some form of catalytic converter protection (Neighbor got his cat stolen around a year ago apparently, just want to be safe)
    Stoked to be here and stoked for many happy years of Tacoma ownership!

    Great truck! I am waiting for a the dealer to call with a build date for mine! Was at dealer on 2/7 and spec'd out roughly the same truck. Lunar Rock Off-Road Premium with a manual trans. I was told 3-4 months so hopefully mine is similar to your wait.

    You can always add some small adornments to tide you over.

    A TRD grill badge goes a long way!
    I chose a subdued color to go along with subdued black, but you can get just about any color you want.
