    Hi all. I have a 2017 i4 SR5 tacoma (previous vehicle was a 2002 i4 SR5 tacoma). I always read threads in the past but thought I would finally join. Recently I have gotten the itch to mod my truck. Done a couple aesthetic mods but was wondering what others thoughts are on engine or performance mods (keeping in mind I am in California ). Thanks!

    The search feature is really nice on this site.

    Also since you're in California, performance mods on your engine are going to be extremely limited. You might look up VF tuner / OV tune and see if someone in your area is tuning trucks, but I'm not sure if there's much to offer for the 2.7.

    URD does make a supercharger but you'll have to double check the carb laws in your area.

    If it's worth anything, the next mod I'm trying for is a new headunit. As far as quality of ride goes I think it has to be the most used amenity in the truck. I really miss having CarPlay in my Subaru Crosstrek. But to your point I think the Crosstrek had more power :rofl:
