I was wondering if anyone has their 3rd gen Tacoma with Bilstein 5100's all around with the front at either 1.1" or 1.5" run into any driveline issues or driver bearing issues? I'm also considering going this route keeping the rear factory height just to maintain some rake. Before I do any lift I just want to get an idea of this basic setup and if it's caused issues?

My Truck is a 2019 TRD Off Road, Tires are 265/70/R17 with Venomrex vr602's -12/ 17x9 wheels.

It's basically a 50/50 shot, you could get lucky for a bit, but you will probably have to do it in the long run anyway. Do it once and forget about it.

I went up 1.5in on both ends with 1.5in of rake for 200lb of permanent load. Before I did the lift, I swapped the bearing as I had some subtle vibes with the stock suspension from new. Just do it as it is easy. Literally one nut, two bolts, and some careful hammering once the wheel is off.

I also had some vibes after the lift that was easily fixed with carrier bearing shims. Like 1/4in or 3/8in. Can't remember.

Any lift is going to increase your changes of needle bearing issues.

Is 4th the highest notch? How is ride quality? I do not want to go below 2" of lift but don't want harsh ride. I do however want stiffer ride to get rid of nosediving when braking and downshifting.

I think there are 5 notches. Ride quality is noticeably better both on and off road. Little firmer but soaks up the bumps nicely.

Good to hear. I sure like how my AAL stiffened up the rear. Will be nice with the front done too. Cheers!

5100 Are made to be installed with the OEM springs. The ride is great.
Now if you change up springs with another manufacturer or installing spacers, pucks, gerbils and all that other crazy business all bets are off.

Any clue if you would still want a 1/4" spacer on the left for taco lean?

I have Deavers in the rear so I have no need for such nonsense.
