    Here you go. Bone stock. Is the OR suspension larger than the SR5? I know the tires are larger, but I’m sure I can find some good suspension off an OR on this site.

    The OR suspension would be an upgrade. Will you be doing much off roading? If so move up to Bilsteins or similar/beefier. Here's a pic of a factory OR shock next to a Bilstein 6112.

    Wow. What a difference. Not a serious off road guy. I live on a farm and I would also like to take the kids camping with the truck. So I think I would be fine with the stock OR stuff.

    3rd gen TRD OR suspension
    Even the stock 3rd gen 'OR' package suspension makes a huge difference on the 2nd gens. I installed one in Nov '20 on my Taco, the difference in ride quality was incredible. I don't trail ride/ hard core 4wheel the Taco, just unpaved roads and occasionally the horrible roads in the city. ( maybe I do hard core 4wheel it ...) it makes those shit-of-an-excuse-for-roads seem smooth.

    I have an SR5 and I actually just bought take-off OR shocks from another TW member. I feel like every one or two weeks I see someone putting up their OEM bilsteins from an off-road up for sale.

    Good to know. What’s the deal with the TRD lift sold by the dealerships? It says not compatible with DCLB configurations.

    Definitely a quick and inexpensive improvement for any SR5 and if you're really interested, try to get Pro take-off's. Then you get additional height and with mild use, like family camping, you'll never need to replace it.

    The Pro suspension is comparable to running Bilstein 5160's/6112's with a medium duty AAL. You'll be better served swapping your UCA's too at this point though.

    Just my take on it all. :thumbsup:
