    New owner here, this forum looks amazing. I am looking Forward to learning all about Tacos.

    With the Stock SR5 I think it will be a long time before getting out on anything greater than an "easy" offroad expedition. So far, the truck is great. Looks nice, drives excellent and great milage for a V6.

    Stock Tacoma 4x4s are very capable off road. Adding lifts and big tires is mostly for show.
    I've been driving a stock SR5 20 years off road without problems.
    I don't rock rock crawl but neither do the modded pavement princesses.

    Thank you, that is good to hear. I don't plan on rock crawling either but I would like to get a TRD style Skid Plate under it just for peace of mind. (and easier oil changes some say). I don't care for the plastic air dam so much and I feel like it is just a matter of time before it decides to part ways.
