I've tried a few brake pads and have been mostly satisfied with the ultimate hot stopping power and fade resistance. They have also been super quiet, low dusting, and easy on rotors.

Are there any pads that offer more bite? A higher coefficient of friction? Especially when cold/wet? I'm interested in something that does well under high heat heavy towing, but also has a hard initial bite and does well when cold and wet. Maybe something semi metallic. Rotor life, noise, and dusting are a secondary concern.

Ended up finding some wagner severe duty semi metallic pads. $45. Old rotors were quite new so i just did a simple pad slap. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THEM!!! I disliked the pads that came on the truck (don't know what kind) and the very well reviewed ceramic ones i replaced them with. But these ones are exactly what i was looking for, the brakes feel way more powerful and have excellent bite and feel regardless of conditions, how cold or wet they are. So far they are just as quiet as the ceramics. I'm assuming they will wear the rotors faster and dust more, but i don't care.
