Ya know, that kind of answer really is effective. I just say I could blow it at the bar, but then again, I just don’t drink as much now that I’m old.

That's what I'm here for, the mods and the gear.
    I don't have those things either...and I lack the know-how:notsure:

Suspension swap complete - Dobinsons linear rate coils (rated for 3 inches of lift with 110lbs constant load, aiming for 2.5 with weight being added), IMS shocks, caster correction radius arm bushings, rear brake proportioning/bias valve, and alignment.

It'll settle, but initial impressions are very positive - fairly level, photo was taken on an angle.

Looks good! You might need to get some 37's to fill in those wheel well gaps. ;)

Shifter modified, Foor seal installed, and interior put back together. Just cut a hole in the shift boot for the second stick to go through. At some point I'll get with an upholstery place to make a proper boot.

This had probably been the most involved project I've ever done. Happy it's all working!

My project de jour, as it's too damn cold out to mess with the platform. This old girl has been getting ignored. I decided to give it a wax job and change to a different pickup arrangement.

    20220326_112030_(1).jpg

It doesn't get a glossy shine, because it's an oil finish. But, it still looks damn good!

    20220326_145725_HDR_(1).jpg

Sometimes, I think the back is prettier than the front.

    20220326_145902_HDR_(1).jpg

Now to check the action and intonation. :)

Oil finishes are superior anyway. Warwick's always sound good, even though they're not my favorite bases, I've never heard one played live and thought "man this bass sounds ok" it was always "well damn.... This is killer tone"

Yeah, the finish allows the wood to breathe. And, the neck feels great. It's better now than it was new, back in '96. It's just so solid.
