Congrats. What did you specifically miss about your first Tacoma after you bought your Chev?

Congrats! I'm in the doghouse for a week when I trade in a vehicle and that's at least 2-3 years apart. I can't imagine the carnage if I did what you did!

With retirement looming 5 years down the road and the market looking like it's going to suck for a while, I think the Taco is keeper for a while.

I did basically the same from my 2018 Tundra to 2021 Ridgeline to 2021 Tacoma. I actually have less debt than when I had the Tundra.

I’ve been known to jump from one truck to the next a time or two so I understand. Last few weeks I’ve had a Gladiator fixation. Fortunately for my financial health, My wife hates the Gladiator and loves my taco. Besides my taco is almost paidoff and it’s financed at 0%.

She knows how to work me though. After weeks of bringing it up she said, fine do whatever you want. When she said that I lost the urge …

Nah, I sold my 18 Tacoma for what I paid last year and bought a crosstrek to pay off in 2 years and give to the kids in 5 years but decided I didn’t want to drive something that soulless for 5 years so I’m Trading crosstrek for above msrp. Great time for this type of mistake

I am in the same boat! Traded a few times in this market and have come out even maybe a little more on the ahead side. Going back to a Tacoma and will be losing no money. I am sure the dealerships are making money off it too but at least I'm not losing anything. Hoping I like this Tacoma so much where I won't think about letting go of it this time. Miss my 2nd gen. But sure as hell wouldn't buy a used one right now.

Congrats! What dealership was that at? Been thinking about getting back into a Tacoma Pro, and searching some dealers online that show stock. Assuming a few if not all are prob already spoken for.

Nice! Gotta get you over to the lime green thread so you can hear how we’ve all made mistakes buying a color that no one likes, but that now, oddly everyone likes.
