I put a welcome mat ontop of the back seats when they’re laid down. Or if I have extra passenger’s or pups I stuff my dog and my buddies dog in the back of the truck. Once I stop being lazy I plan on doing that rear seat delete D6616647-ABE7-45F7-84C3-B0DB20692DC2.jpg 9C7E4085-1D4D-4FAA-B454-C8E018F1498A.jpgEA1C62B6-0A8F-4589-AA20-73476F5C0BD1.jpg

I put down enough 3L water bottles, tool boxes and a snow chain container to level out the back of my axis cab. A large dark gray door mat makes a level place for huge dogs.

My Great Pyrenees owns the back seat, but her hair doesn't follow the rules. It's in its normal configuration with a large dog blanket over it.

ETA pic. Not in the truck but needs a pic.

My dog is family and family rides inside. Well, in-laws maybe in the bed.

    Great thread with awesome dogs.

I use a hammock in the back seat too, downside is the kiddos can’t ride so we have to take my wife’s suv if the whole family is going out.

Another dog hammock user here. I have 2 dogs and the backseats stay in the normal configuration with the hammock protecting them.

I can remove it on the rare occasion I have passengers and the seats look pretty much brand new.

Which hammock are you using? I can't tell what will fit well. I also took out my headrest for better back vision. Probably have to put them back to use any of these hammocks.

Use a seat cover over whole back seat area. He’s 1.5 years old now and 83 lbs.

I have the hammock from Duluth trading company. Works well but a 90lbs chocolate lab and a 65lb yellow lab generate more hair than it can contain. Still helps and protects the seats

    I'm here for the doggos...

She loves car rides. Trying to get her to notice the rear slider. She's already trashing the RR door panel. She prefers to ride shotgun, but I'm not a fan of that. Thinking of making a platform out of plywood and wrapping it with cheap carpet to lay over the folded rear seat. She had already slipped I to the cubbies twice, and being 12 I'd rather not have any injuries from a simple joyride.
