    Must have been someone else

I'm not a good enough rider to justify the 10x cost increase :D

I'm bored and feel the need to post something trivial.

Finally a decent-looking cheap Softopper shows up on Craigslist and of course it's in Boulder the day after I drove up to Denver.

I’ll be in Boulder this evening if you get something worked out and want someone to snag it for you. But then I’ll have to take it the opposite direction of you so that I can go home

I appreciate the offer but I really wanted one for a trip that rolls out Saturday morning. Unless a magic elf brings it at least as far as Monument there's no way I could get it before then--I just don't have the time.

Does anyone have RCI 20* Sliders? If so, how do you like them and can you share pics?

I am struggling to find the photos of 20* sliders with top plates on a taco or t4r. Id like to see how tight they fit.

They're too narrow which leads to your door smashing into rocks instead of the slider. They're good mall rated sliders though. Also they're too thin if you wheel hard. Mine are destroyed and need rebuilt. I just don't wanna do it lol

Also the frame attachment is weak and they bend easily my rear door hardly clears them now that they're bent.

That's my general consensus of a lot of the RCI products. Great value if you just head to the mall. I dented my RCI engine skid in Canyonlands hitting the center section of dirt/sand in some deeper ruts.

That and their 1st gen Tacoma skid plate doesn't cover the radiator on automatic transmission trucks... and no mention of that until you receive it and see it yourself for a big

RCI sliders appear very similar if not identical to RSG.. how do you guys feel about RSG products?
