This is foreign to me. Probably too late at this point as nearly all ceiling work is done. Ceiling fan in the AM and that should take care of the overhead work.

I have a (old, hoarded ) Rx of some ‘good stuff’. Thank goodness. Went to replenish the supplies and got Jefferson’s and Mark.

Did not look for the Wyoming… I’ll be heading to the AFB Class 6 here soon and will look around.

    Thanks !!

Right now only options is to get a civilian hospitals Ortho referral for surgical treatment plan

They can repair all the damage surgically including a knee replacement but are saying the knee will quickly be destroyed within a year to two years . But unless they can resolve/ restore the nerve function so those muscles will respond its not medically feasible .

    Thanks

I was told i can get a knee replacement but it won't last more than a couple years . With the limited nerve function to muscles that stabilize the knee its not feasible

All the Doctor's at the VA including my VA are all from Vanderbilt University Medical center . This is a very well respected Medical University in the South

    Thanks

    Thanks

    Thanks

    Thanks

I would def get a 2nd opinion. This is your mobility and it never hurts to make sure the doc is giving you all of your clear options. I would also see if you have options to keep the weight off the knee, cane, walker, mobile cart…

So sorry to see this. Hope you get more positive news.

The Nashville VA med center which belongs to the Tennessee Valley medical system is run by Vanderbilt University medical center and school . Vanderbilt University is a very prominent medical school here in the South

The surgeon I talked with today I belive was the Chief of Surgery for the Ortho department

That's a horrible idea. What time?
It's rare to hear this said about the VA. But it sounds like you're in capable hands. Have they done anything like the tens machine to stimulate the muscle and nerves?

The steroid injection I got in my knee yesterday seems to be working . Woke up this morning and the usual sharp pain I've been experiencing for months seems to have all but disappeared . I still have to instability but the pain is gone !!!!
